For the second season running we hosted Aylesbury Dynamoes in the First Rd of the Wycombe Senior Cup and ironically the scoreline has been the same on both occasions.

With 3 new players in the starting X1 this was in many ways a typical,Reserve game where formations have to be decided on with little or no knowledge of some of the players. We opted for a 4-2-1-3 shape and started knocking the ball about confidently with right back Zac Crawford seeing plenty of the ball and having dominated we took a 7 th minute with a tidy finish from one of the the new boys Mitch Cole .
We then became complacent and Aylesbury Dynamoes enjoyed good possession and had a couple of close calls before Tom Shaw doubled our lead after 35 mins.

Playing down the slope we held the upper hand but our opponents refused to lie down and were a credit to their League. Just when the game could have swung Jack Sunderland made and scored a goal from absolutely nothing to effectively win the tie. Still Dynamoes came back and got a well earned consolation from a corner. We then changed to keeping the ball and following a 12 pass sequence from front to back Tom Shaw scored the goal of the game.

We now play Flackwell Heath away in the next round date tbc.
